The Danish rider was rounding the last of two finishing circuits with a one-minute lead and roughly two kilometres to go when a race official drove up beside him and told him that he had won. Related Articles Tour of Alberta: Hansen wins stage 5 in Spruce Grove Hansen had no idea that his chaser Sven Erik Bystrm (Katusha) had missed a right-hand turn onto McLeod Avenue, which led to the entry of the finishing circuits, or that the entire peloton behind had missed the same turn. The turn in question was not blocked off and Bystrm noted on the Katusha team’s website that he had followed the motorbikes straight off course, though the team did not file a protest. Race officials decided to give Hansen the victory and his time was based on his first passage across the finish line, at the end of the first circuit, even though he completed the two full circuits. Laurent Didier (Trek Factory Racing), who had been dropped from the main field with two kilometres before the circuits after working all day for overall leader Bauke Mollema, made the proper right-hand turn onto McLeod Avenue and entered the finishing circuits in second place on the road behind Hansen. He completed one full lap of the circuit and then was told to stop by race officials, who then awarded him with second place on the podium. There were three or four cars that passed me and just before I came to the turn, I saw one car break but then still continue, Didier told reporters in the post-race press conference. I didnt know why but when I arrived I saw a flash for the right and I saw a marshal standing on the island, and he was also waving right, so I went to the right.

Mollema receives confidence boost in Tour of Alberta TTT – VeloNews.com
But actually, I didnt expect to beat [Orica] because they brought almost their entire team for the world championships. Trek was the third of the 15 teams of eight riders to start the 12.2-mile flat, technical course. The squad set the provisional lead in brisk weather and intermittently strong headwinds and crosswinds. But an hour later, Trek expected its time would fall when the Svein Tuft-led Orica team posted the best intermediate split. But the Australian-based squad, condensed to five riders in the waning few miles, faltered and finished .74 seconds behind Trek. Mollema, the first Trek rider to cross the finish line, was vaulted in the race lead. It helps with confidence, for sure, said Mollema, who last competed in a team time trial at the Tour de France in July where the Trek finished 11th among the 22 teams. Its great to win a team time trial, its the first time in my life, and I think for some of the other guys, too, it was really special. The last 8km was hard with five guys. But if you look at the intermediate times and the time at the finish, that is where we gained a lot of time, so thats really nice. Mollema, whose last individual win was stage 4 of the 2014 Tour of Norway, hasnt won a stage race since the 2007 Tour de lAvenir. I have to say I liked the time trial with the road bikes better, said Mollema.

Avoid using a ladder when it is wet. Using a ladder outside in the rain can cause the steps to become slippery and could cause an accident. Health and safety training guidelines will encourage employees to make sure the hinges are locked in place and the ladder is stable before beginning to climb it. If the ground below the ladder is not flat it could tip over while you are climbing it causing a nasty fall.Types of Extinguishers – Now that we know how burn-able materials are classified into fuel, it makes sense to learn which type of extinguisher is used for each.Segregation is the key to everything.
